Being gay is wrong.
We fall in love to procreate. If you can’t procreate then you’re not in love, you’re just sick or confused. The Bible says it’s wrong, and I live in a Christian nation. I would hope that my government would follow the Bible. Gays shouldn’t marry because regardless of them being in “love”, it would take away from straight, real marriage. Also, I wouldn’t want my children to see that kind of disgusting thing between two people of the same sex. It’s just wrong.
That’s my opinion, and your “logic” won’t change my mind, so fuck you.

No, but actually, when I first read this I was livid. I am still mad about this post, but I understand that some people are so uneducated and close-minded that they can’t help it.
‘Jesus Christ’. People. When someone says “The Bible” and proceeds to try to explain science (and sexuality is science, the same as nature itself is science, and burritos are science) then you are talking to someone you should not be taking seriously. This person might be cute, might tell funny jokes sometimes, or give you rides places when you need it, but for all intents and purposes, this person does not know what they are talking about. This person was told what to think and thinks it, the end.
I mean, they can cite the name of the book that told them how to think! It’s like, right there in their argument. There is no reason to get emotional about it, although this is the thinking that keeps gay people down, and that will continue to do so. The best thing you can do is learn as much as possible about ‘how things work’ then people like this will only evoke the pity they deserve. (For the record, I got as far as ‘the bible’ in the original post before I stopped reading it, because it’s always the same. It is, after all, in the bible.)
I have no idea why Christians site the bible in the argument against homosexual relationships. I would think Darwin’s work on evolution and Margaret Mead’s work in cultural anthropology would make a much stronger case in favor of restricting gay relationships.
It’s like a crutch. When all logic and facts shine through, the Bible is always “right”, giving them the hope they need to keep us in the dark ages.

No Clouds
Awhile back a friend asked me how I kept so calm and happy with all the these going on in my life:
When all my problems and priorities pile up, when things just don’t go right, when people spread rumors and tell lies, when my ocean of anger starts to rise, when it seems like my mom will never get better, when my cars break down, when everything I want in life seems so far away and out of reach. I tell myself, “No clouds on your sky. Stay as clear and calm as the moon.” And then I just take everything one step at a time.
